Rock the ‘90s

Biography

Rock the 90s is the ultimate time machine for fans of ‘90s rock and pop culture! Celebrating a decade of electrifying live performances, the band brings the spirit of the ‘90s back to life with authentic renditions of the classic ‘90s hits we all love. From Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Foo Fighters to Coolio, Stone Temple Pilots, Matchbox Twenty, and Collective Soul, Rock the 90s recreates the soundtrack of a generation, sparking nostalgia and introducing a new audience to the magic of 90s music. It’s a pure celebration of the music, energy, and attitude that defined the decade.

Based out of Middle Georgia USA, Rock the 90s was formed in late 2015, originally under the name Broadcast 90. The group was born out of a shared passion for the 1990s—the last golden era of guitar-driven rock. Their goal was to honor the decade’s rich musical legacy. Each member has amassed thousands of hours of studio and stage experience, performing across the U.S. and sharing stages with Sister Hazel, Everclear, Cowboy Mouth, Sugar Ray, Brothers Osborne, Muscadine Bloodline, Lee Brice, 38 Special, Edwin McCain, Robin Trower and Skid Row. Over their 10-year run, the band has performed in 13 different states, including Georgia, Florida, North and South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Texas, Michigan and Wisconsin.

Rock the 90s isn’t just a band—it’s an experience. Their proficiently crafted, high-energy shows explore not only the hits but also the hidden gems of a transformative decade in music history. With one mission—to spread the gospel of 90’s alternative rock—Rock the 90s delivers a concert like no other. Whether you’re reliving your youth or discovering the era for the first time, get ready for a 90’s throwdown that will keep you singing and dancing all night long!

  • Awesome show at Madlife! One of the most fun live bands I've seen and I saw a lot of the bands they covered. For anyone who lived in ATL during the 90's, it was like a grand return of alt-rock station 99x!

    Eric Hyman, Acworth, GA

  • Saw these guys last night at the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach. Might be the best cover band I've ever seen. Still not sure how they sound exactly like every band they cover, but they do.

George Rudnitsky, N. Myrtle Beach, SC

  • Rock The 90’s stands as a wholistic celebration of what made music from the decade so memorable to so many people.

  • There is no other band i know of that can cover the 90's rock genre as accurately as Rock The 90's. It's high energy, entertaining and memorable. If you're looking for something to do, you can't go wrong with a Rock the 90's show!

  • Rock The 90's is hands down, the best 90's rock tribute around. An authentic, high-energy show with an engaging set list that is beyond compare.

  • Thanks again for last night. You all brought it and it made the party. I'm still getting texts today about how good the band was.

    Mike Hannaford, Acworth, GA

  • I first heard you all play last summer at The Windjammer in IOP, SC while visiting friends that live down there. I had the BEST time that night and sang along with every song! I love 90's music. It takes me back to my high school and college days!

    Amanda Revel

  • They killed it. Temple of the Dog? Who does that? Who can even do that? And I mean do it well.

B.C. Villanova, Lead Singer of Villa-Nova. Columbia, SC
